this was a first for me – a high school senior shoot. i’ve done plenty of engagement sessions and weddings. i’ve photographed the tiny kiddos and the families. so it was fun to try something new! this is the gorgeous macy! her mom and i are in a business group together, so of course i couldn’t wait for this shoot once she had asked me to do it…and WAIT we did. we had to re-schedule three times! it doesn’t rain in wisconsin all summer long and the one day out of a week we could match our schedules up, it pours all. day. long. i think the wait was worth it though – we found some pretty outdoor areas with some late fall color and pretended like it was 80 degrees out!
macy – you did such a great job! thanks so much for trekking up those hills, crawling through fences, and shivering for two solid hours for me:) i hope you and your mom are as happy as i am with the images!
