Etrheim. It’s Norwegian. It means “home by the cold river.” And it’s difficult to pronounce. Several years ago, a friend I had just met said he would pay me $50 if I could do one of two things:
a.) He could tell me how to say it and I could spell it correctly
b.) He could spell it and I could say it correctly.
I love making photographs. People and objects. Weddings, engagements, and children. Fine art. I think that everyone and everything has a story. And I’d like to help tell it.
Oh, and just so you know…I did not win that bet, but it DID become my last name 5 years later : )
And it’s pronounced ET-RUM.
